Fabio Aurelio today looked ahead to Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan Athletic and declared: 'Let's keep our hot streak going.'
Liverpool's four-match run of victories without conceding a goal has helped them ascend to sixth place in the table.
Aurelio believes it's crucial the Reds extend that sequence when they play host to the Latics, particularly as their next league outing isn't until February 27 at West Ham United.
He told LFC TV: "It's very important to get the three points. It is two weeks until the next Premier League game, so it (a win) will give us two weeks to work, concentrate on the Europa League and apply more pressure to the teams above us.
"So I think it will be massive, especially playing at home after the great result we had on Sunday. It will be a very important game for us.
"The fans will play the same role they always play for us - as an extra player. I think they are seeing the team working much better than before and they will be even closer to us now, and that will be very helpful especially at home."
