Kenny Dalglish has encouraged his players to stay focused and not get carried away by their recent success which has seen the team win four successive games without conceding a goal.
While the manager has been delighted with the response from his squad since he took charge at Anfield, he has urged a word of caution ahead of today's clash with Wigan and claims further progress will only happen with the same hard work his players have shown so far.
"It's a fantastic reward for them and they have worked really hard and shown great determination to get a result. It just shows you that a wee bit of hard work together with the ability they have got and you end up with four clean sheets and four victories," Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We have got a reward for that and that gives everybody a bit of confidence and belief in themselves, and we can now look forward to Wigan.
