Maxi Rodriguez in line to make return from injury for Liverpool FC against Brighton in the FA Cup.
MAXI RODRIGUEZ is set to return to the Liverpool FC squad for Sunday’s FA Cup fifth round tie with Brighton. The Reds midfielder hasn’t featured since the victory over Manchester United in the last round three weeks ago but has recovered from a foot injury he sustained in training. Earlier this week Rodriguez was recalled to the Argentina squad to face Switzerland in a friendly later this month.

Liverpool FC fans fly 6,000 miles from South Africa for Carling Cup final

FANATICAL Liverpool FC fans will travel from the country where the Kop’s name hails to watch the Reds play in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley.

Pals Gareth Kemp, Mark Meikle- Braes, Devon Macgregor, Ryan Killoran and Adam Shapiro will fly 6,000 miles from South Africa for Liverpool’s match against Cardiff in London on February 26.

The members of the LFC Supporters’ Club South Africa, who regularly visit the Spioenkop hill which the club’s world famous terrace stand was named after, said they can’t wait for the matc
